I am looking for a 617 with a 6 inch Barrel in 6 shot. Can someone help me with this.

I have a 617 - 10 shot with a 6" barrel (pre-lock) and I love it. It is the most accurate 22 rimfire handgun that I own. I picked it up last year for $550.00. It was used but in mint condition. It is a little heavy out front but I am use to it now. It is about the same size & weight as my Python. I highly recommend getting one - it will last a lifetime!

I think Buds only has the 10 shot. I want a 4 inch 6 shot. Have to keep looking. Can't get use to the way the cylinder looks. Wish Smith would make a plain cylinder 617, 10 shot.

Keep checking sites like GunsAmerica and GunBroker. I have a 6" no-dash 617 and wanted a 4" like it (I just prefer my six-shooters to only hold six rounds) and found one on GB for what I considered a fair price for a gun in high demand.

I looked for a long time and finally found a 617 no dash. I think I gave $650 for it. The older 617s are made better. Good luck.
