Are you trying to say that the SCSW 5th edition does not list the revolver you possess as a variant of the Model 29? Perhaps sending the documentation you possess to the editors of the catalog would be more helpful than publicly calling out an perceived error.
Actually if you read the OP, he says 4 screw plate
that makes it sound like a 5 screw. Which it can not be if a 29-1. And if you re-read my posts I am aware of the documentation. The OP stated it is a 4 screw plate, my 5 screw guns have 4 screw sideplates. We all know(or many of us know) that a 29-1 would be a 3 or 4 screw. I don't really think it is a different gun. But you never know. As I stated, we don't see the right side of the gun and he doesn't show the serial number, you are left assuming it's the same gun. I was just being difficult.

I really don't need to re-read your post....The gun is well documented. It has been the subject of many posts on the forum, including Doc44's posts on the rarity of this gun.And if you re-read my posts I am aware of the documentation.
