I just got a S&W Model 29-3 with a 10 5/8 barrel and scope, can someone tell me the year of Date? SERIAL # ADY076XX I say 1985 approx?

Brad I believe your pistol was made between 1983-1988. Some models were marked as 29-3E for the endurance package.
