Smython

What I find interesting about that one is that it has a lug for thee front of the ejector rod. The idea of drilling the hole for the lug makes me nervous. The lug is only about 3/16" OD and once you add up the barrel shank, length of the ejector rod and depth of the hole it would take a fairly long bit, you would need to get started just right. If you made your own lug tooth you wouldn't need the step down like a S&W factory tooth, but you would still need to drill the cross pin hole just right and put the cross slot in the tooth correctly. Drilling a small hole like the cross pin thought the edge of another hole is an excellent way to break a bit and that would be a horrible spot to have a broken bit stuck. I would be tempted to drill the pin hole first then the larger main hole

Much easier to put a ball detent setup in the yoke which is what I have done on the 2 I have made up so far at least.

Not much money got the barrel in trade for work and paid $325 for the frame. Maybe $60-70 for the cylinder and a bit less for the grips. So less than $500 as I did the work myself. A stock 14 or 19 will shoot just as well. Some might take some tinkering.

I can't help but think a set of nice looking stocks, removing the trigger shoe and some better photos would have helped that achieve a much higher hammer price.

That's the first Smolt/Smython I've seen go under $2k on GB.
