Sn. math question

Just a hypothetical question. You are a major S&W dist. back
in the day. You rec. a large cardboard box from the factory.
The shipping invoice indicates a complete del. of one model of gun. The Sn. range is consecutive and inclusive. 35927-35850.
How many guns are in the box?

I would GUESS the number to be 78 units. Obviously it seems to be written backwards. My next question is if you get to see the invoice to quote this range, isn’t there also a section of the invoice that lists the number of units?

That day at the shipping dept, the clerk did put the range backwards and forgot to type in the total. Hey, it was Friday, late afternoon. Just hypothetical. Thanks
