Here is a snake that on November 12
Was still active in Ohio .About 50 degrees
Out when picture was taken.

Dave—I think that is a Snow Corn Snake. Corn snakes are native to the Southeast but certainly not Ohio. I bet that is someone’s pet that either escaped or was released.

We are having a long, warm fall here in Vegas. I killed three scorpions in the back yard last night. I've killed more already this month than I did in June. I can only surmise that their prey is in short supply and they are out hunting for that last meal before the winter sets in. Either that or they are scouting out winter quarters. Whatever, I'll be there with the black light and Raid Max to kill them.
