Snap Cap question

Depends. Frame mounted firing pins do not have nearly the problem the hammer mounted firing pins do. Back in the old days when dinosaurs still roamed the earth and my agency still used revolvers we changed a lot of hammer noses (firing pins) out at the academy where the range guns got a LOT of dry fire use. That was with the hammer mounted firing pins. Whichever you've got it doesn't HURT to use them.
