Not sure where this goes so here it is. ANYONE know of a maker of QUALITY snap caps in 38 S&W?? I am thinking I will have to make a few.Carlson was no help, nor Lyman. THANKS for looking.

As Ivan said A Zoom. I do not have .38,but do have 9mm and 45acp. They both are of high quality and work well.
I once made a set using fired cases. I popped out the spent primer and filled the hole with Permatex RTV silicone gasket material, they worked perfect.

Amazon has them, type snap caps in 38 S&W in search bar
FOUND THEM!! I had looked on their web site with no luck but Amazon had them- on their way.
