Based on what I read about this product in a previous thread I purchased a quart sized can. I had been using various beeswax-based products on my boots and experienced water repellency that didn’t last too long.
This product has proved to be much more effective.
I give it a big thumbs up.

The problem I had with Sno Seal was as I wore my boots the sweat didn't escape and permeated the leather. Then the foot odor got very bad. The Bee's wax only lasts one good soaking. But there are natural enzymes that soften/condition the leather. You reapply the was and are conditioning the leather at the same time. Best if done while the boot are still damp, but will restore leather boots that are rock hard and the toes all curled up like elf shoes!

Good luck with your better half not throwing your smelly boots out!

I've been using Sno-seal since the 60's. I guess the millennials just found it ;) The only thing is it will significantly darken leather. It doesn't soften leather like Neatsfoot Oil or similar products. That's a good thing with some boots. But it will keep the water out. My time in the outdoors has learned me that dry boots, wool socks, good gloves, and a good hat are critical to not only comfort, but possibly survival in the outdoors.

Back when I was duck and goose hunting I wore Sorrel Caribou boots. I got the boots nice and warm with a hair dryer and then massaged in the sno seal.
Water never got in. They are now about 35 years old and still have them.
I also pulled the felt liners out and brushed on a layer of the plier handle dip. Called plasti dip.
Works great.
