Snow Again

I got home tonight at 7:00pm. It's been chilly and damp in the
hills of SE Ohio, looked like we were out of the woods on the
snow. I had 4 50lb sacks of sand in bed of truck. I threw them
out this AM. Just watched news, looked out window before hitting
the sack, 2" of new snow! With out sand I will be taking a Mexican sled ride in AM. When is it going to stop! This ain't

Well,at least it's consistant. We've had highs in the 80's lately as well,but Saturday morning (turkey season youth day opener) they are calling for 30 degrees at daylight. No snow though!

Had 4 inches yesterday, only good thing is that my daughters flight got cancelled and my granddaughter got to make her fist snowman with me..

We had snow on the weekend, yesterday morning when I went out the temp was 18 and windy this morning it was 29 and it felt like a summer day.

Wife asked Sunday if she could have the sand from my truck for the garden (dogs been digging again). Predicted rain last night and 20% chance this AM. Now it's snowing in the Pass and on the hills across the River. We haven't had snow since January this year!

I PM'd a Forum buddy of mine 2 days ago. Lives in New England. Told me it was 17 degrees at 4 AM as he was on the way to work. Still has a couple of feet of snow in his yard. He's just about had it.

One can understand the high suicide rates in some nordic countries after the winter here. (My son has 7 school make-up days, all the way down here in the south--I can't fathom some of those snows in the NE). We're pretty much out of the woods here in Colorado even though March usually brings the biggest snowfall.It will be hit or miss.

Good thing we have idiots giving us the weather like in the picture below.

We have a lot of resident Geese here, they stay year round, last week they found around a hundred dead, now the count is over a thousand, with the ground being covered with snow, they have nothing to eat.
