Yup, for the next 2 days.
Today it was 64 and sunny. Then we have snow starting tonight.
We're not going anywhere for the next 2 days.

Yup, got generator gas, just filled up on propane for the propane fireplace and filled up on kerosene for the backup kerosene heater.
The 4wd truck's also got a full tank.
Lotsa food stocked up too.
I usta be a Boy Scout. Be prepared.

My generator is hooked into the Columbia Gas system. It takes my house from total darkness to fully functional and bright in 12 seconds. I have medical conditions that require active mechanical systems and I can't have the power go down.
Got the beer and cigars covered too. I recently got a bundle of 20 Gran Habano Vintage 2002 robustos. They're resting comfortably in my humidor.

Wow, you all are still fighting cold and snow and stuff and I had to cut grass for the second time this year in short sleeves and shorts today.

Ditto on range Tue. So-called "Pineapple Express" due to hit SoCal coast Wed and rain may reach us in valley on Thu. March has been coolish: 67 today: IIRC, 70 is normal.
But I gladly paid to have this weather!

Visiting my kids in Central CT this week (from central OH)....
Earlier forecast was sunny and clear all week.
Now expecting 10-16" of snow tomorrow into tomorrow night.
Kids lost power for 2 days a couple of weeks ago in the last big snow. We're hoping not to have a repeat as 93YO mother-in-law is with us too.
Anxiously awaiting the arrival of Spring in this part of the country.

Here's a thought. Exactly 1 month ago, my wife and I went for a hike in the mountains on a sunny warm 92 degree winter day.

In February, I was able to go to the outdoor range twice because the weather was so nice. This month, not even once.
I've been asked, as an American Indian, what my opinion was on snow.

Ill gladly pay you to take ours. It'll get as high as 88F today they say.

I'm really looking forward to the warmer weather. Can't wait to fire up the grill, light a good cigar and crack a cold beer.

Wow, y'all are pretty hot today. It was a beautiful day here and just cool enough, but windy at the range. Temps got up to around 65 degrees this afternoon, but the wind was blowing 15-20 mph at least, with higher gusts. I was glad I had left a light windbreaker in my car. I had a blast (literally
) and brought my 5" model 27, my 627 Pro and my ATI 1911. The gusty winds made my eyes water a bit and also made holding on target a pain at times, but I had a great time! Now to clean guns and brass.I've really been enjoying the 1911 since I got it. For an inexpensive gun, that ATI is pretty darn nice. Round count on it is now up to 600 down the pipe and it's starting to break in pretty decently. It is a surprisingly well made pistol for a $350 gun.
