Always a good idea to "clear the throat" of guns periodically, especially those that might be (or are) carried. Just discovered a problem with a Chief this week: visit to 'smith next week.
Also, must pay attention to your ammunition. I didn't last month: loaded a revolver for the trip home with 125gr JHP R-P rounds. At home, found one of the rounds with the primer loaded sideways. I also violated what for me is a personal caveat: I carried home the gun I had practiced with. This never works for me. Better a 2nd gun on the person. YMMV

This is also my approach, usually. The only exception was back when I had access to a range that allowed drawing from the holster. In that case, I practiced with my carry gun as I didn't have duplicates (i.e., a 2nd gun that fit the holster) and didn't want to deal with changing holsters at the range.

AMEN TO THAT! The gun in my pocket or on my belt stays there when I'm at the range.

Hope OP doesn't mind me chiming in, but it looks like a Kimber K6S.
That's pretty darn good shooting. I think that bulls-eye would be slightly smaller than a human torso. Would like to see how tightly you group at 5 yards. I would, but no BG would, of that I'm sure. Be safe.

I love bringing my model 60 to the range. There is always at least one person to make a funny comment, do you need to get that back to the museum before closing time, was that used in the civil war lol. Mine was made in 1984, carried it off duty for law enforcement and now as my retired leo gun.
If it was me, none....

Mine are great, they may look small but they are design to fit and keep the gun from slipping around in your hand. I have the 320 series on two J-Frames.

This 640 no dash rode in my pocket for about 20 years
...and it fires the 158gr LHP. I've always believed this load gave a snub the advantage over a small semi-auto. Now, of course, we have the mini-9s.
