Me sure
Kids are starting to shoot clays and I think they are gentler on the old guns.
Particularly the 2 1/2 2 9/16 and 2 5/8 ones.

I Had no idea on the volume or the cool extras
25-20, 30-40 krag,22, 22 mag 303 Britt.

Who knew shotgun shells would drop to less 2 cents each ?

Boy that’s a haul ! I just shot some paper hull 12 ga slug, buckshot and six shot yesterday in my Mossberg 940 pro tactical. Functioned just fine.
And yes all those boxes are cool and collectible.

Boxes alone are great keepsakes. Never forget searching the woods for those ejected paper hulls in the early 60s.

I like letting the confetti fly also.
Yeah it was a haul....lol
She wanted 100 for all of it
I gave her 150 not knowing just how much extra there actually was.

I have done similar things several times over the years. Usually a family disposing of a lifetime accumulation of a lost husband, father, other close relative. Frequently vintage and antique stuff that is in demand, if you find the right buyers. Sometimes a few things I've never heard of and had to research to find out exactly what I had found.

I don't know squat about Shotgun shells boxes but two of the mallard ones look interesting one is the magnum. The other would be the one without the new crimp and has dupont at the bottom?

All of the Peters boxes with the mallards are worth some money to collectors. Several others are also. They're worth more full than partial or empty. It would be a shame to shoot those.

Check out some past auctions at Wardscollectibles.com to see what the ammo is going for. It may change your mind about shooting it.

Nice haul. I wouldn't mind a call like that.

I picked out a pretty ratty box of 16 gauge 2 9/16 for the German Ulrich.
It's been sitting waiting long enough.

Grabbed the worst box of 2 1/2 for the survivor Cresent and they enjoyed stepping back and tossing confetti

These 2 are why I was so happy with the find

Nice haul. I was pheasant hunting with a good friend last year and on his first shot I see this paper coming out the end of his barrel. I had him show me what he was shooting and he had brought a couple old boxes of paper shells a neighbor lady had give him. He had another 8 boxes at home - all full. I traded him for boxes of new.
