Yes the Dan Wesson cost more , but you get all tool steel parts & a gun that was fitted by one person . I'm also a fan of SA pistols & have 6 of them all Gov't size in 45acp . I have 1 Dan Wesson Valor also 45acp full size . The Valor cost more than my TRP's , but have better internal parts . Depends on what one wants vs what one will pay to get it . BTW I too love the Harrison smooth triggers & have them on all 12 of my 1911's . Both Harrison & EGW make excellent parts .

How does it shoot ? I have a full size RO Elite & it had a very good trigger right out the box . Have fitted a small radius firing pin stop , & plan to fit a tighter bushing . Mine also came with a standard non-locking MSH .

I thought it was against the law to chamber even a pseudo 1911 in 9 mm?

Bakebfr480 The Commander was first chambered for 9mm before other cartridges . But an expert like you surely was just pulling his leg , right ? hehehe A lw mid size 1911 is a sweet shooter in 9mm for sure .
