was in an Academy yesterday and saw more primers, of all sizes, in one place than I have seen in years! I bought 5 bricks of SPP and still left plenty for everyone else. They were $7.99 per 100. I know a lot of the forum thinks that is still too high. But I recognize that is the current normal and frankly, I was glad to see it. I can still make rounds for less than 25 cents each and that will keep me shooting.

I think the prices will start to level out at around $6 per hundred. Maybe $7. Inflation alone means the days of $3.50 to $4.00 per hundred are gone forever.
They could also shoot back up to $15 to $20 per hundred almost overnight due to some political event.

I just paid $75/brick for two bricks of Aguila SPP. We shall see how they work out.

I know it was too much, but I keep running low on SPP (my son is shooting a lot more these days).

$80/K with no shipping and hazmat ain't great, but it sure beats little to no choice, limited quantities, and hazmat shipping!

I'm glad to read Academy has them on the shelves in stores. There's several locations closer than the nearest Cabelas and other big box stores. Plus 5% discount if you use your Academy card.

I gave up shooting already. $80 for a brick. Not worth it.

Shooting was miserable 2013 until the shortages started to come back down. This is even worse. If this is what it is going to be like, good enough reason to quit and grease up the guns for storage and not look back.

Man, I'd be all over that price in a New York minnit--the only primers available locally are Federal Match at $179.00 a brick! A "good friend" at the recent gun show was hawking his stash for "only" $200 per brick--I laughed and moved on.

I did find 2K Federal 100s for $90 a brick, I almost threw out my back whipping out the cash--there was another guy breathing down my neck hoping I would put down one or both bricks but I know the unwritten rules of the show (and swap meets, garage sales, etc.) and I didn't put them down until they were paid for.
