So, my Brothers....How Cool is this...? 4566

Several years ago, I gifted my Pastor and dear friend with a Truly NIB 4566 that I bought from a dealer on the East Coast. I never fired the pistol, but it was my Favorite S&W Auto of the bunch. I loved my friend and wanted him to have the .45 Version of his Duty 9MM 5906. Squared trigger guard, Novak Rear Sights, and Perfect. I never thought to ask him if it was available again. A recent (and on-going) hunger to get one like it was met by a missed opportunity to buy another NIB by a great Forum Member, but I was too late.....I thought to ask my friend if I could replace the 4566 with a pistol of his choosing, to which he responded....I love my 5906, it is my passion, you gave the 4566 to me as a gift, please take it back in the same spirit.....Are you serious?!?!? Despite my efforts to find something he would rather have, he insisted that I take the 4566 back....That's what friendship looks like...... Here is an original photo of my new baby.....It is less than the value of my friendship for sure, but it is too cool to imagine......Zebulon

Great story, and that gun is stunning! I have never shot one, but I would bet it shoots like a dream. All silver controls are really nice.
