So what does everybody drive?

I have a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP coupe. That car goes like hell, I treat it like hell and it still runs like a top.

Recreation & winter (rainy) season, I drive a 1999 Land Rover Discovery II.
Summer, cruisin', & roadtrips, I drive my 1982 Corvette Collectors Edition.
Here's a pic of the Corvette, with the Land Rover in the driveway.

I've been driving this VW Safari (Thing) since 1991 when I first came down here. It's one of the last one's made (January, 1980) in the Puebla plant. It is an absolute SCREAM to drive, and I can't think of a better ride for Bananaland.

This is not a picture of my actual car, but it is identical in color and trim details, other than my Echo's lack of wheel covers (took them all off, after finding out how heavy they were when I changed a flat)...

I'm not trying to be a wet blanket here, I'm just surprised. Why would anyone care who drives what? Just interesting.

In this day and age, I don't particularly care to ID my car for the world at large. I would never post a pic of it, <span class="ev_code_RED">much less with the TAG NUMBER SHOWING, or any distinguishing features.</span>

Likewise, I would never put pics of my kids on the net. They are CUTE kids, but I wouldn't show 'em to the whole world.

Long ago, and far away, on a combat tour, I NEVER carried personal data. NO photos, nothing with anyone else's name, no addresses(memorize them), no letters(burn them). Dog tags, ID card, ration card, MPC, and whatever orders I had to have. NOTHING else.

I really don't mind, folks, just thought you might want to think about such things.

I totally agree, I didn't even realize that that my one picture had the plates showing. I actually found both pictures from google images.

I guess this actually goes to show you, that you really shouldn't post those kind of things on the net. You never know what kind of crazy wacko would use it in an internet thread. Or worse case scenerio do something mischievous with it.

2006 Ranger Rover Sport; black on black.

2009 Corvette convertible; black over cyber gray.

Be safe.

My daily driver is a 2002 Corvette ZO6. With a couple intake and exhaust mods and pro tuning has it about 485 HP (so the tuner says?). Anyway it's plenty fast and a lot of fun to drive.

My daily depends if the dog is riding with me or not. She rides in the 2003 Ford F250 4x4 four door. My car is a 2004 Pontiac Montana. The dog refuses to ride in the van for some reason, so regardless of the mpg, I use the truck.

Your dog obviously doesn't want to be mistaken for a soccer mom.
