So, what's a Bunny Harvestman?

Technically harvestmen aren't spiders, but that's splitting hairs for most folks. I've never seen one like that. God's universe is an amazing place.

yeah it looks like a miniature version of the creature from the 80s kurt russell movie, the thing.
real life is really stranger than fiction!

If that thing ain't a spider, then what the heck is it?
It has 8 legs so it's obviously an arachnid, it appears to have fangs, and the linked article calls it a spider, so...

I want to know if the cameraman was waving Cheetos at it in the final sequence. ;) The critter looked very interested in something. Maybe it could see its reflection in the camera lens.

I don't care if it's a true spider or not...that's the coolest thing I've seen lately.

Harvestmen are members of the class Arachnida, which also includes spiders, scorpions, mites and ticks. Spiders have venomous fangs. Harvestmen have no venom glands or silk glands. They do not spin webs or build nests.

So what looks like fangs are actually mandibles. Kind of makes me think of a crustacean - like a crab.
