I've got a Jap Airsoft copy of a Beretta M-92FS in there. Just needed a place to put it.

My real guns are kept in other places.

I don't keep anything in my sock drawer, except socks.

BUT, I think if one has more than one handgun, it makes sense to keep them available at strategic places within the home (assuming one doesn't have inquisitive little kids roaming around).

I started with Sigmas since, and please forgive me Sigma owners, no one really wanted them and they were dirt cheap on the used market.

Then I changed to revolvers since I didn't want my wife to have to worry about the manual of arms for an auto, when she could just point and click, so to speak, with a revolver.

So, I have stashed a number of J-frames, a Cobra and, for me, a Glock 21 in a special place.

Works for me and must be effective as I have never had to use a single one of them to protect our home.

Don't have a sock drawer gun but I found one in Great Falls.

The gun is a K38 Combat Masterpiece that had a total of 6 rounds shot through it in about 1952. A widow sold it to the gun shop and said her husband shot it (6 rounds), cleaned it, loaded it and put it the dresser drawer and hadn't touched it since.

Does that count?

nightstand/bedpost if that counts, Model 64 2" hangin off my bed post in an old upside down shoulder holster(S&W BTW) easy to grab but not easy to see.

and a HK USPf 45 with UTL and night sights, just sitting on the nightstand. Outside the door a hiddin compartment that drops down there is a G23 and Mossy.......need I go on?

how about door guns? sofa guns? wall guns? computer guns? garage gun? well lets just say we aint got kids and I plan on being on the winning end of an home invasion

Thanks guys for the responses.
"Sock Drawer is just a loose term for bedroom hiding place.
Actually, in my house, someone who knows where to look, can find a k-frame in most every room.

Only thing I like better than guns is socks, so there's no room in the sock drawer for a gun.

I don't keep a gun in my sock drawer, I have a few knives in there though. My M14-4 often resides in my nightstand drawer.

Hmmmm. Which sock drawer?

Just kidding. I keep this 5 shooter in there.

Just kidding again. I keep my pre-28 in there.

I don't usually wear socks. The gnomes always steal them.

Using the definition of "bedroom gun(s)", then there's an M1 carbine, two CMMG M4 clones, a Colt AR15 SP2, a Stoeger Coach gun, a Sig 556, a Sig P229R, an NEF 12 gauge single shot cut down to be a whippet gun, a 629-4,my wife's Beretta 96G, and of course the mighty Lorcin .25 along with a PVS 14 night vision monocular, my concealable IIIA vest, and a second IIIA tactical vest with level IV plates front and back.

Not in a sock drawer, but a qwik open gun mini vault, you will find a M&P 9mm with 2 17 round mags and a fixed light. And in same vault a 4 inch 66 with laser grips. Oh yeah there is a high cap Mossberg 590 with shurefire forend closeby.

This secures the bedroom. But each floor is armed.

I do not have grandkids yet. When I do (next December is the due date), the unlocked ones will need to be secured.

I don't keep any guns in the sock drawer. I usually have a S&W M&P 9mm with a light on the rail and a Beretta 92 with night sights on the table by my bed. The rest stay in the safe. The two in my room go to the safe in the morning in exchange for my daily carry gun(s). My major nightime security system consists of two large dogs sleeping at the foot of the bed.
