Hello. This is a nice example of an Argentine Mauser Model 1891 Cavalry Carbine manufactured by Loewe of Berlin in 1893 (see serial #/year of production chart). It is chambered in 7.65 Argentine (7.65x53) and loaded ammo is readily available for it. Although this rifle is fully functional and I have shot it myself, because it is an antique, it is being sold as a collector's item only with no guarantees, expressed or implied, that it can be safely fired.
Intact, ornate Argentine crest on chamber. All correct, all matching including bolt. Conservatively 95% original finish remaining. Sound walnut stock and handguard. Bright bore with minor frosting. Fully functional.
As this is an antique rifle, it can be shipped directly to you. I'll need only your name, address, date of birth, and a statement from you stating that it is legal for you to receive and own this antique firearm.
