Up for sale is a 1940 Enfield No 2 mk1. These were known as the tanker models as they hammer was bobbed and they were all issued to tankers and troops alike.

This example is a 1940 produced at the Royal Enfield plant, it was created during the Height of the blitz , its all matching and sports its original finish. The bore is like new (mirror lands/grooves) and the lockup is excellent. Mechanically perfect. It has its correct issued grips and are board star marked (military acceptance). The finish has edge wear as seen in the pictures; the pictures tell the rest of the story. It is chambered in .38 S&W (not special) which can be had extremely reasonably. Grips are in excellent shape with no chips / cracks / repairs.
An added bonus - no import marks.

FFL - 03/01 is fine. If you 01 needs it to go through a FFL holder I am an 03 and can provide a copy.
