5" .45ACP 1911 introduced in 2004 by S&W's Performance Center. This example of S&W's entry into the high end 1911 market retains all of its original factory flat black melanite finish and has a perfect bore. It has not been fired since leaving the factory. I have another identical 170243 S&W PC1911 which is as accurate as any Wilson Combat, Ed Brown, Les Baer or custom built 1911 in my possession. I understand these initial PC1911s have hand lapped barrels, slides and frames, forged parts, and Wilson Combat adjustable rear sights. They were made to compete with the above named makers. It comes in its original numbered gray PC case with 2 magazines, paperwork, lock, etc. It originally retailed for $2600. This example would be impossible to upgrade and would be a great addition to your collection or make an extremely accurate 1911 for your shooting pleasure. I am thinning duplicates in my accumulation of accurate 1911 pistols. The only trade of interest would be a 3 1/2" blue S&W model 27-8 eight shot revolver marketed as Registered Magnums (SKU 170271) plus cash my way. Forum rules apply and additional photos available via email upon request.
