I have for sale a Model 60 no dash, 55th Anniversary Commemorative revolver commissioned by the Va. State Police Association.
This gun was engraved in Ken Hurst's shop (the late Mr. Hurst was a noted master engraver who worked for Colt for a number of years) about 1985. The gun is marked with Mr. Hurst's stamp. (Don't know if he personally engraved it or if it was done by an apprentice).
There were two "runs" of this commemorative. 180 were engraved and 190 were not embellished by Hurst. The gun comes in the wood display case with the Virginia State Police Trooper Badge engraved on the outside of the case. It has the key for the box and an unopened (sealed in plastic) set of revolver tools.
I'm asking $1200 or reasonable offer, plus shipping (about $60) from my FFL to another FFL. Payment by USPS Money Order. Will take a check from established S&W Forum Members, but will not ship until the check clears.
