Overall Great Condition Clamshell Case. It has the usual styrofoam wear where the cylinder, front sight, and rear sight dig into the foam. This style case was used circa 1960-1968 and this case was probably used towards the end of that period as it has the later style front latch. $180.00 shipped.

1917,.38/.44 Heavy Duty & Outdoorsman & the .44 & .45 revolvers.
Given the 5 1/2 designation a 1917 might be a good bet.
