What the....the case for my base fiddle has machine gun holes in it?

It got down to 48F here last night, perfect weather for sleeping with the windows open. Today's high was in the low 70's with plenty of sun. Keep in mind, in a few short months, I'll have snow on the ground with averages below freezing and you won't.

Yep - going to be a beautiful sunny, 72 here in NEPA all weekend! :D

Winters are worth it.

Only 108 here across the river from California, cooling down from the Summer heat. Kinda humid tonight also, around 16 percent. Just got out of the pool and I had a thermometer with me checking the pool water (it was 86 by the way) and had it in the pocket of my wet trunks. When I pulled it out after a few minutes of getting out of the pool, it was registering 68 degrees because of the evaporation. My trunks were almost dry.

103 in the Bay area???? I bet you ARE miserable.
Down here it's the usual 90+ degrees with that hot cut it with a fork humidity we all know and love. It's starting to cool off for the season (by that I mean high 80's with humidity only in the 70's). By the first couple of weeks in October it will start to get really nice.

76 degrees in Santa Cruz - heat wave is killing me!

In Palo Alto (VA Hospital) yesterday - 87 degrees, can't you guys keep it down over there?

Fhat the wuck? It's not even 103 here in the desert of sunny SoCal. You are not standing close to one of the forest fires are you?

Gonna be in the low 80s in MN this weekend.
Way too warm for goose hunting.
But I'm going anyway.:D

Only upper 70s low 80s here. But it's been raining since last Tuesday, and there's no sign of it ending anytime soon. I used to like the heat. But it seems like after a certain age, the summers got hotter each year and the winters got colder. Now my temperature comfort range has gone from 50-100 to 70-75. Inside I can enjoy the AC or run around nekked. But outside you can only take off so many clothes! Without getting arrested anyway!

Yesterday was the first day of 'fall' and it was 86 degrees here and supposed to be 83+ today.

Two feet of snow on the ground this winter followed by 100 degree days this summer. I don't mind the snow at all, but you can keep this heat nonsense.

I was in Orlando for 6 days, the temps AND humidity never dipped below the 90's, except at night. It was HOT HOT HOT every minute of the day, and the humidity was brutal. Good thing it was almost fall.
This week narrowed down my search for retirement.
