I really should go through my safe more often. Sometimes I get surprised. This 15-5 is from about 1980.

Might wanna double check your model revision as it looks more like a 15-4 or 15-3.
I agree. No later than a -4.
Looks exactly like the one I have, maybe they are long-lost cousins (Serial 22K83XX).
Mine has been sitting in my nightstand drawer for forty years. I take it out and shoot a box through it a couple of times a year. Well, most years. I couldn't find (or afford) a Model 64 so I went with the nickel model 15.
I have the original receipt. $169. Model 64's were $100 more if you could find one. Doesn't seem like much but I think I was making $5 an hour at the time.
Adjust the $169 in 1977 for inflation and in today's dollars it's $677.

You get surprised? Hmmm...does someone secretly put things in your safe for you to happily find?
It does happen though. I just now found this 15-3 and 15-4 in my safe.
I'm retired from teaching in Taylor County, about half way between Macon & Columbus. I work part time at a pawn shop in Macon.
The Model 15/67 is my favorite revolver, any caliber, any manufacturer. Yours is a nice looking example.
