Was out and about the other day and stopped to get something to eat at Taco John's when, while getting my hot sauce, a woman noticed my gun behind my open jacket. She felt entitled to proclaim, "You have a gun!" not loudly but more as "How dare you!" I glanced up, said "yes" and continued to assemble my tray. Being dissatisfied with the my response she followed up with, "Are you a cop?" Without looking up and in a normal tone I replied, "no...." Still not satisfied she came back with "Then what do you do?" I paused, looked up, and said "I mind my own business."

I finished the rest of my lunch undisturbed.

Does Minnesota have "printing" laws? I hope not. Luckily in AZ we don't have to worry about accidentally showing our carry piece.

A person could make life very hard in a state that is fussy about a concealed gun being revealed if they wanted to raise a stink.

I hear you folks about the letting it show...but in MN you can open carry if you choose although I don't see that done much. It was under my unzipped coat and she happened to be at the right angle to see it. No "printing" laws in this state and in no way was I carrying illegally...or IMHO irresponsibly. But I hear what you are sayin'.

Minnesota is an open carry state, with a permit.

I think that sort of makes 'printing' a non-issue.
