So far one actual response and a couple of replies to acknowledge my emails...

Hi Mark,
Thank you for the note, I appreciate your comments.

I am a strong second amendment supporter and am NRA endorsed. I own several guns and practice with them frequently. I will continue to work protect law-abiding gun owners from efforts to restrict our second amendment rights.

However, please be aware that with the Democrats in control of our entire state government, there is little we can do to stop their legislative agenda here in Minnesota. I know there is legislation working its way through the process in the House and Senate. I have not yet seen anything come through my committees, but I will certainly keep your thoughts in mind should that happen. And please rest assured that I will continue to fight to prevent a rollback of our gun rights.

I would also encourage you to contact the legislators that serve on the Public Safety Committees in each body to let them know your thoughts.

Thanks again for the support, and please feel free to contact me any time.

Sincerely,

Roger

ROGER CHAMBERLAIN

It is an honor to serve you and others from the Sixth District of Minnesota, encompassing Stearns, Benton, Sherburne, Wright, Anoka, Carver and Washington counties. As your Representative in the U.S. Congress, your views are very important to me and I appreciate hearing from you.

Please rest assured that I will keep your thoughts in mind when considering and voting on legislation affecting our nation and the Minnesotan way of life. I will do my best to respond to your message as soon as possible and look forward to your continued correspondence.

Thank you for submitting your message to my U.S. Senate office. Each week, several thousand Minnesotans send me their thoughts and suggestions on legislation and important issues facing our nation. This impressive volume is a testament to the Minnesotan traditions of grassroots activism and civic participation that distinguish our state. I closely track the concerns that are expressed in your letters and emails, and will answer them as soon as possible.

Sincerely,

Al Franken
United States Senator

Our Politicions need to know that we will not comply with any law that is a violation of our Constitution and second amendment. Further we will work to remove any Oath Breaker that proposes legislation that is unconstitutional. They should lose their retirement and healt care benifits as well...they are simply Traitors to this Republic.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Lyndon B. Johnson taking the presidential oath of office in 1963, after the assassination of John F. Kennedy
An oath of office is an oath or affirmation a person takes before undertaking the duties of an office, usually a position in government or within a religious body, although such oaths are sometimes required of officers of other organizations. Such oaths are often required by the laws of the state, religious body, or other organization before the person may actually exercise the powers of the office or any religious body. It may be administered at an inauguration, coronation, enthronement, or other ceremony connected with the taking up of office itself, or it may be administered privately. In some cases it may be administered privately and then repeated during a public ceremony.
Some oaths of office are a statement of loyalty to a constitution or other legal text or to a person or other office-holder (e.g., an oath to support the constitution of the state, or of loyalty to the king). Under the laws of a state it may be considered treason or a high crime to betray a sworn oath of office.

Politicions need to take note...and we need to hold their feet to the fire...they are our elected representatives that have sworn to up hold the Constitution and that includes the President. Its all about our Freedom.

Dear Mark,

The Second Amendment establishes the right of Americans to protect and defend themselves and their families. However, President Obama and some members of Congress are doing everything they can to increase gun control without prudently considering all factors associated with violence.

Rest assured, I will not vote for any legislation that breaches "the right of the people to keep and bear arms" and will continue to unwaveringly support the Second Amendment during the 113th Congress. When I took the Oath of Office I solemnly swore that I would support and defend the Constitution of the United States and that is exactly what I will do.

My record is clear on the Second Amendment in the 112th Congress. I cosponsored bills that would have: increased concealed carry permit reciprocity between states; improved accountability and consistency in firearms testing by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives; prohibited funding for enforcement of any forthcoming United Nations Arms Treaty; and protected the right to hunt and recreationally shoot.

Making our society safer and stronger is an important decision. To prevent future tragedies we must address the underlying causes of violence and understand why perpetrators do these unthinkably evil acts. The focus needs to be on making our homes, schools, and streets safer—not advancing a political gun control agenda.

If you have any comments or questions regarding this issue or any other, please contact me or my staff in the district office in Anoka or the Washington, D.C. office.
