ROCK N ROLL....our music really came alive in the 1950's.....

three, of the all time greats, who wrote their own music and played it their way.....first to be inducted into the rock n roll hall of fame.....

Me? I like the old British invasion bands. The Stones, Led Zep, the Kinks, the Who, and of course the Beatles.

Saw the O'Jays last Nov @DPAC in Durham, they were great even recently. The place was rockin' with bunch of old, and young, folks shaking and baking in the aisles.
Levert still has it for now.
The opening group was the Dramatics. I hope they come back in 2019.

They closed with Money, the place exploded.

Anything by CCR, Sam Cooke, any of the early 60s groups, Supremes, Crystals, Ronettes. In country music, Ol Possum, George Jones is tough to beat. Man I sure wish I had that '55 Chevy back.
