Speaking of Sigmas, sears, and springs...

I was wondering where I can buy new replacement springs for the sear of my Sigma. I understand contacting S&W will not help as they may not have them.

Any advice would be helpful.

You should not need a new oem spring for a Sigma unless you lost one.

As far as Smith not having springs and replacement parts? They will have them.

It never hurts to have a replacement around. I heard Smith quit making these parts.

Give Wolfe Springs a shot. We ordered a set for a friend a few months back.

It's not that S&W doesn't have them, they will not sell them to the general public anymore.

I searched Wolf Springs site yet no luck there with the springs for the sear. Back to square one.

I should have added that we purchased a striker spring. The pistol was like most sigmas. Terrible trigger. We sent the pistol to a S&W repair shop. It was a lot better when it was returned. The lighter striker spring just made it a little bit better. So far, no failure to fire.
