The range report on the engraved one is probably not going to happen (although the gun has been shot), but its older non-engraved sibling has seen tons of time at the range and in the desert. It is very accurate and a delight to shoot. Note: it usually gets shot with its numbered magnas, but I thought these KB Ropers looked mighty nice on it for a photo shoot with its flashy younger sibling.

Mike - The engraved one has been shot, but not by me and I probably will not shoot it (it takes too long to clean). On the other hand, this similarly set-up Combat Masterpiece gets shot a lot!!!

It is a wonderful K-22 that shows off the skill of two talented engravers working in collaboration. Per Claus Willig, "This revolver is very typical for two engravers . My father [Emil Willig] was responsible for gold lines and the animals and Mr. [Gustav] Schildbach, another engraver working for Kurt Jäger Mainz, engraved the oak leaves."

A special example of oak leaves, scroll and gold that makes me smile every time I see it...
