Spectacular Two-Tone Engraved Combat Masterpiece

Absolutely spectacular sir!! Perfect fit and well done on adding to the most fabulous collection! Looks like the animals are very well executed in the bulino approach, and hits all the boxes for an amazing piece of high art.

I'd shoot it...

Stunning Richard. I guess as usual that a range report is out of the question?

Randy and JBT:

The range report on the engraved one is probably not going to happen (although the gun has been shot), but its older non-engraved sibling has seen tons of time at the range and in the desert. It is very accurate and a delight to shoot. Note: it usually gets shot with its numbered magnas, but I thought these KB Ropers looked mighty nice on it for a photo shoot with its flashy younger sibling.:)

That is one of the nicest engraved revolvers I have ever seen. If I could own just one, THIS would be it! Combines all of the things that I like.

My favorite phrase is "Just a squirrel, tryin to get a nut..."

Enjoy it! I know it is in good hands!

It is a wonderful K-22 that shows off the skill of two talented engravers working in collaboration. Per Claus Willig, "This revolver is very typical for two engravers . My father [Emil Willig] was responsible for gold lines and the animals and Mr. [Gustav] Schildbach, another engraver working for Kurt Jäger Mainz, engraved the oak leaves."

A special example of oak leaves, scroll and gold that makes me smile every time I see it...

Hey Richard,
Very nice, congratulations :)
Cheers
