Does Speer still make this bullet for reloading? I can't seem to find it anywhere and their website now has a pop-up about cookies/tracking that I can't seem to navigate away from! Any help appreciated.

As far as I know the 148HBWC is still a Speer standard production product. That doesn't mean they are readily available anywhere these days. Everything is in very short supply and manufacturers are upside down with back orders.

Hornady also offers a similar swaged 148HBWC, so you may find paydirt with a broader search.

Good luck finding bullets.

Midway's shelves are empty..................... on my search the other day
for 38 and 9mm.

If you can use cast try Acme Bullets. They are limiting production to the most popular styles and limiting quantities.

But they had 1,000 .38 158gr cast and coated LSWC and shipped them in a day. Right at $100 with UPS freight. I ordered on 11/18, shipped 11/19, out for delivery today.

Speer sells their 148gr HBWC .38 bullet in 500-round cardboard boxes along with more conventional 100-round plastic. I got three big boxes just before Panda-moniam made it impossible to buy anything.

I just rec'd an order from Midsouth Shooters Supply for 3 boxes of Hornady 148 grain wadcutters. They are about $26.00 per box and as of a minute ago they show them in stock. Took about 3 weeks to arrive though. Good luck otherwise, most places are out of them with no backorder.
