Speer gold dot quality control

11 wasted rounds, what do you do with those rounds? How to get rid of them. Maybe see if bulk ammo will help replace or they could talk to Speer.

As of now the are in a marked box away from all other ammo. The other two boxes were perfect. I have a few emails to both companies that they haven't answered yet so we will see.

Very interesting.............
since the little Hornady 115gr flex tip has a OAL of 1.073 +/-.......
which I thought was a very short loading for that weight bullet.

Do both bullet weight about the same ?
Maybe a 115 got mixed with the 124gr batch ?
Never know, now a days.

Glad that you caught that.

Backwards primers ? My, my, my..................

If you know someone who reloads, they could probably verify bullet weight (you're going to lose that round), then partially pull the rest and reseat and crimp to proper length.

We essentially buy ammo by the ton. We see both primers and bullets occasionally seated backwards, missing powder charges, primers seated sideways, damaged cases. The list goes on. You need to inspect each and every round you're about to load to make sure it was put together properly, regardless of manufacturer.
