Anyone has change the buffer to the spike T2?
I'm thinking of changing it, just hoping to get some feedback if it effects the performance of the mp-10.

I' e read some post comments that the BCG in the M&P10 is proprietary. How that is, I can't say.

The same goes for the barrel extension and nut. One of the negatives of the AR10 group as a whole. They aren't made to a standard like the AR15 is.

Similar weight to the H2 buffer I am running, should work fine to slow the action(increase dwell) a bit and help absorb recoil, but it is unlikely to help operation with low pressure ammo(NATO).

Takes a few seconds to change out, so give it a go!

And it looks cool!

When I clean the BCG, I noticed it has sharp edges on the bottom of the BC, sharper than other ones that I had handled. not sure if it's normal.

I have the ST-T2 installed but have only gotten to try maybe 30 rounds of PMC Bronze 147gr and it worked fine. It's too early to make a call on the reliability but for sure you can at least try it as well.

Amazingly nothing jammed since I've had nothing but issues with the M&P10 since day 1 for all types of ammo from 147 to 175 gr. It's only recently become more reliable after about 300 rounds.

You are starting to get it broke in now. It takes time... It's that way with about any new weapon.
