I am looking for info as to a spray cleaner and lubricant to reach those hard to access places. I have an M&P 22 and under the barrel where the locking pin is, there is enough grease to lube all the wheel bearings in a wheeler. Ive tried to remove it with tooth picks and q-tips but it is very hard to reach. I've put close to 800 rounds through it and the area is hard to reach and clean the way I'd like to. Secondly, does it need that much grease to function properly?? So I'm thinking a spray cleaner and a lubricant to use there. Help please!!

Yes Gun Scrubber will work quite well, HOWEVER................
once you finish with it, MAKE SURE you get oil on every single inch of the firearm as the Gun Scrubber will actually remove ALL the oil from the pores of the metal (actually turns it white). As long as you re-oil correctly, you're good to go.

For the hard to reach areas on my semi auto pistols I give it a good hosing with Rem Oil spray. Cleans and lubes too.

I have at times also used the Remoil (good product) but for really heavy caked on grease there's nothing quite like Gun Scrubber. It really is excellent - as long as you re-lube properly.

Thanks for the help I'll check those products out. I new someone else must have had the same problem with their firearms. I just have never seen this much grease from the factory before, and as I said it is pretty dirty after 800 + rounds.:)

+1 on G96... But to be honest towards dlbx2 and chief38, I have never tried Gun scrubber, but I have used and still use Hopes Gun&Blast which looks very similar... Bottom line, I really like G96.
