How's the weather?
S'posed to top out at 87, humidity is nice at 50 something but going up. Not a cloud in the sky.
Fertilized the flower beds, mulched with the mower chopped leaves dropping like crazy and watered.
Set up a retired guy fixin' to get lazy station at Mama's garden shed complete with 2 beers to sort out yeahzo years of nursery pots to toss.
Life's good, be better once I get the IRS obligation out of the way.

When I see the first Robin pecking in my front yard I know spring is soon to follow. Could be the same robin each year but never got his ID. However I am happy to see him

Larry, I’m working on it. But, I don’t think I will reach your amount! A Grackle is a black bird with a purple head, and golden eyes. Most don’t care for them, but I don’t mind them.

Our RV is still in the air above the frozen ground.

Our pond is still solid ice.

The stream that fills our pond is still frozen.

My camp driveway is still snow covered, so we had to walk up to camp to check things out.

I saw a Robin on our back lawn. My thought was: "Dumb Bird".

We see Robins before the other birds come. In High School when I was learning taxidermy, Grackles were my bird of choice for mounting. They are dumb enough to sit still long enough to make a calculated pellet gun breast shot and not ruffle any feathers.

Spring, when the many ice fishing and heavy drinking shanties by law have to be off the ice by March 15. A large bunch of them disappeared last weekend and the reservoir level is slowly coming up.

When this snow cover really gets to melt the reservoir will go up big time!
