My Dad bought this gun new in approx. 2004. I don't really remember exactly. It has approx 400 rounds through it, according to my log.

Springfield Armory Loaded Model. It has a NM trigger group that looks to me like it has USGI parts. Not sure if they are ALL USGI, but I believe that hammer and housing are. Which may indicate the whole trigger group is USGI.

It has a SS medium weight barrel, NM trigger, and NM sights (I have a USGI aperture installed now, but it came with a non hooded NM aperture, which is just smaller. I will ship that with the rifle). It comes with 2 stocks. The factory thick profile wood stock. And a take off synthetic stock I bought from a member on here. It is the older style that is a USGI synthetic with that bedliner type spray finish over it, textured. It shoots equally well in either.

Also included are 5 magazines. (2) USGI type 20 rounders, bought from Springfield, (2) 10 rounders bought from Springfield and have a similar feel and look to the 20's and (1) 20 rounder of some unknown make. I think it's possibly one from my BIL's polytech. So maybe a chinese one? It's got a darker finish and smoother.

This is the most accurate rifle I've ever had the pleasure of owning. It has shot sub moa with Remington and Federal match ammo. 168 grain. I have not tried 175's. That was with a scope mounted on it of course. 3x9 It will regularly shoot 1.5-2 moa with Portugese surplus. Although I'm not sure if you can get it any longer. But if someone already has a stash of that, this gun really likes that ammo.

I do not want to sell this rifle but I've got 2 kids and need to cover their homeschooling materials with me selling one of my guns. Plus, my health is not that great and don't shoot it much.

Black Friday Price Decrease
$1350 shipped to lower 48. I take paypal (although it would be nice to get that 3% charge covered. Even if we split the difference), US Postal money order or personal check. I would wait to ship the gun once I recieved the US Postal money order and with a personal check I'd wait for it to clear the bank before shipping.
$1300 Face to face, cash, or US Postal Money order. Or I guess paypal too for that. If one was inclined to do it that way.

I would consider partial trades for smith and wesson revolvers. .38 special ammo, or a .223 bolt gun.

my IM box is almost full, so if you can't get me there, try me on email: [email protected]

Additional pics I think... I hope.
