Except they don't make the XD pistol. It is made in Croatia.
Reading the specs, it says, "Importer: Springfield Armory." I thought, "What?!?!" I went back through the article looking for more information, and none is there. "Importer," in the specs, is the only clue that it is not American made.
Some research on the WorldWideWasteoftime showed that it is made in Croatia. The text does not say it. The pix in the article don't show it.
I consider this a trashy sin of omission by American Rifleman.

I am not commenting on the pistol. I have no opinion on the pistol itself. I'm just put off by American Rifleman acting like a trashy commercial gun magazine.
