Greetings and Good Day!:)

I like my XDs 45 as well as several other XDs;) The shoot well, no problems and I prefer the trigger over Glock

My XDm 45 is almost as accurate as my high priced 1911.

SA also has great customer service(if needed). AS good or better than SW.

I thought handguns were no longer for you down under??(or are you in Melbourne Florida?)

I had the XDS.45 and it's a great gun but I'll have to confess that after I got my 9mm Shield, I sold the XDS. It was just a personal preference thing but I loved the idea of having 8-9 shots instead of only 6. I can also shoot quicker and get back on target faster with the Shield. As I also have a couple of small .380s, I could justify only so many small CCWs. Anyway, enjoy your new purchases, they are both excellent weapons and welcome to the forum, I've found a lot of great information here. Regards, Elliot45

I had a .45 XDS 3.3 for a while. It was fine, no issues.... but it just didn't do it for me. I like my Sig P938 too much, and therefore I didn't have a role for the XDS.

It was a fine firearm and I had no complaints about it. It will serve you well!

Here's my former XDS with my pocket sized carry options:

Ok I will share this I bought the xds around the 1st of this. Month. I put 100 rounds threw it, on thr very 1st round I had thumb in way .lol cut the heck out of it. But just wrap. It up and kept. Running. The. Rounds. Got the m &p about a week. Later still haven't had time to hot range again . Good nrws is thumb is almost totally healed lol

I have a two-tone XDs in .45 that I carry when concealed is more of a driver than capacity. I don't carry it much but I'll keep it for that one purpose. Given the 9mm and the .45 guns are the same size, I went with the .45 version. I put some XS Big Dot sights on it since it's pretty much a close-in gun. Mine has been 100% before and after the recall.

I have anXD45, the one with the thumb safety. It is a great shooter and I would not hesitate to carry it cocked and locked, just like a 1911.

Cool 😃 i got the compact. 45C.like it alot, i will like it better when the extended grip mags get here. This is my first Springfield. I really like my new M &P 40c too its a toss up gor sure.and bolth will get alot of carry time. Tthe 40 seems a bit heavier with loaded mag than the xd. Cant eait to get the mp to range

Got an XDs 45 3.3.

What a great 45. Small, light and the thinnest 45 autoloader on the market. Mine has been flawless, even digests my 200gr SWC. Got some Inceptor ARX ammo for it which keeps things light.
