I have a Spyderco Paramilitary 2 knife. The blade is a little too "tight" for me. Can I loosen the blade a little bit by myself, by loosening the blade joint screws? Or, are the screws Lok-Tited into place? What do you think? Good idea, or not?

How long have you had it? We're it mine I'd clean the pivot area with dish soap and warm water, working the blade open and closed to make sure and contamination was removed then blow the pivot dry and lubricate. See if that helps before you make any adjustments to the pivot which you should be able to adjust with the correct bit. IIRC they are a Torx but don't recall the size. HTH

IIRC The Paramilitary 2 Pivot Screw is a T10 and yes, you can easily adjust it.

Any adjustment to the pivot screw should be extremely minimal and not result in any blade play or loss of centering.
