Square Trigger 5906 Holster for round trigger 5906?

Will a holster made for a square trigger guard 5906 secure a round trigger guard 5900, or is the guard shape slightly different? Should matter too much for leather, but for kydex could be an issue? Would it fit, or would the holster need a heat gun treatment?

I'm guessing it would fit. But, a model 5946 came in with round and square trigger guard, and Don Hume made separate holsters for them.

If you're not going to be in a foot chase or wresting with a bad guy then you should be okay.

My round guard 6946 fits just fine in my square guard 5906/6906 holsters, both leather and Kydex.
