So we got a safe with power outlet inside. I was mentioning I needed a Goldenrod and the wife suggested leaving my Stackon cordless rechargeable dehumidifier plugged in inside the safe.

Would this work? It does get pretty warm while recharging but I don't think it is designed to be plugged in 24/7?

My inclination is to just go with a Goldenrod since it is a proven system and penalty for finding out the Stackon won't do the job is pretty severe.

That Stack-On unit appears to be a rebranded Eva-Dry. I have two Eva-Dry dehumidifiers, one of which (a 500 model) resides inside my safe. I am satisfied with its performance. A few times per year I recharge it and it contiues to do its job.
