No Starbucks here, but I probably wouldn't go if there was. What does an old redneck know about lattes anyhow? Come to think of it,just what the hell IS a latte?

I resemble that remark... There are no Starbucks here, but I have been a few over the years. Never ordered any of the fancy stuff - just regular coffee (I don't know what a latte is either). I think they called regular coffee "house blend." It was a good cup a joe, but kinda expensive for just a regular coffee.

Hey FT, I think my Grandma had one of them thier lattes, as I remember it was in the backyard and roses climbed up it.

I'm there now, sipping my coffee, and visable.
I'm wearing a long sleeve S&W T-Shirt with Smith&Wesson printed on the front and down both sleeve's, S&W logo on the back.

I saw the barista read the front of my shirt as I ordered.
I made sure to tip $1.

Today is definitely the day for all 2nd amendment supporters to show up and try their java.

I go there quite often and they were oblivious to all of this. When I brought it up last week and when I mentioned it today. I DID write a letter to corporate last week, however, to thank them for standing up for the 2A. This is their response:

Thank you for contacting Starbucks.
Thank you for your feedback regarding Starbucks' policy on open carry laws. I am truly happy to hear that you support and appreciate our gun policy!

At Starbucks, we deeply respect the views of our customers and recognize that there is significant and genuine passion surrounding the issue of open carry weapons laws. We comply with local laws and statutes in the communities we serve. Our long-standing approach to this issue remains unchanged and we abide by the laws that permit open carry in 43 U.S. states. Where these laws don't exist, openly carrying weapons in our stores is prohibited.

As the public debate around this issue continues, we encourage customers and advocacy groups from both sides to share their input with their public officials. We are extremely sensitive to the issue of gun violence in our society and believe that supporting local laws is the right way for us to ensure a safe environment for both partners and customers.

Hope to see you in our stores on February 14th! Thanks again for your support and have a beautiful day!

If you have any further questions or concerns that I was unable to address, please feel free to let me know.

Warm Regards,

Christina M

I remembered the previous thread about going there on Valentines Day and made a point to stop by this morning and get a cup of their "over-priced" coffee. :D

Hope their sales show a spike in business for today!!

Been there once already. Bought a cup of joe and an apple fritter. Had them fill up my "I love guns and coffee" travel cup. When I told them why I was there they didn't seem to knmow anything about it, but they did by the time I left! I got the line behind me all abuzz about it. Think I educated a few people today!

And I will be making another stop in a few hours!

Got my Cup of Joe and bought two cool-looking mugs to commemorate the occasion. The Girl at the register was well aware of the anti's proposed boycott. Said it was business as usual but did thank me for caring enough to show my support.

I'll be heading out to my local Starbucks after work with the 4506 on my side! It's good to have companies that advocate the law, and not some own policy favoring either side. Very respectable.

Well we went to Starbucks today. Boss man said he had heard something about the boycott.
His coffee was about as weak as his response to our support.

We done our duty. Back to the "trucker's mud" coffee shops tomorrow.
