Thought you all would like to see my 5 year old, at the bench, her first adventure with my RC press! Here she is resizing some cleaned 38 Special brass. I am surprised at her enthusiasm and determination to do this repetitive task!
Keep trying. My girl was gung ho at age 4. Did most of the work to refinish the stock on her pellet rifle and everything. Now she is 10 and as firecracker6 said "it gets a little old for them." Lucky if I can get her to go to a gun shows anymore. It comes and goes. All we can do is keep trying. Keep up the good work.
This is my nephew about 20 years ago, way back when he was one of my shooting buddies, before he got to be an old married guy. If they get to shoot the ammo they helped make, they seem to stay interested longer!
My son was pulling the handle, "Making Bullets" with daddy when he was 2 1/2. He loves to pull the trigger on his cricket too. Started out young but we continually preach and practice safety with him.
