State of the Forum Address

Lee: Congratulations on the superb showing this forum has made under your guidance. You should be very proud of the results of both your efforts and your moderators' efforts. It is obvious to me that you are running one of the best (if not the best) firearms forums on the internet.

I feel privileged to be able to participate. ......... Big Cholla

CONGRATULATIONS!! As a member of the class of 2000, I would like to say thank you to all who have worked so hard to keep this forum going over the almost 11 years I have belonged. As a member of 4 or 5 other forums, I can say that this one, especially under Lee's command, has truly become the finest site on the net.

There is just enough latitude to not feel shackled but enough control that I am not embarrassed to have my wife or children read any post.

Here's to another 10 years of continued success.:D

congrats to all of us! I have learned more since I joined than I knew in the past -ahem- 50 -ish years.

Many, Many Thanks !!!!!

Lee, you and your moderators have done a superb job of making this forum both fun and informative. One can't help but admire the tone you have set allowing our individual personalities to show without things getting out of hand.

Your stewardship is both appreciated and impressive

Thanks,

Kurt

Lee, et al. I haven't read all the 13 pages of posts before this one, so it may have already been said - The advancement of S&W knowledge through the establishment of this Form and it's internet capabilities is a beneficial tool never imagined when I first started looking at S&Ws as collectables ( Some members will say that was easy as there was only one model S&W revolver being made then!). The benefit I enjoy is the chance to pass on what little bit of information I have learned over time to younger collectors through this Forum's global appeal. Long Live the Forum! Ed.

Thanks

Lee and team. Thanks for all you do. This is the best sight on the net.

Congrats and Thank you. I have been away from handguns for a while but have recently found my way back to this passion. I am a new member and have found a great deal of good advice and information here. Great Job and thanks again. Fletch

I very much appreciate the forum admins and its members...
glad to have a place to hang out.......... :) thx!

Thread #100,000 Prize arrived!

My S&W counter mat arrived by priority mail (what a class act!), and occupies up a nice bit of formerly vacant space on my workbench. Just two weeks ago I was crawling around on the floor looking for a scope ring screw which had bounced out and down, and with my nifty counter mat, that won't happen again!
Thanks Lee! Best forum going , on any subject, hands down.
Ed

This is a perfect example of what a great board should be. Thank you Lee, Mods, and all contributors. I've spent many an enjoyable hour here.

Where is "noconeetrader"

This is my first entry into the forum. So: Hi

I am looking forward to learning more about Smith & Wesson revolvers. I have collected handguns in a haphazard way since 1994.

Last month I purchased a Colt Python from "noconeetrader" in the emails that we traded up and back I came to respect his gun knowledge. One thing I learned is that the S & W hand ejector is the "finest revolver in the universe".

As I said I collect handguns and I came to respect Lee's knowledge. And any excuse to buy a gun becomes a good reason.

For the last 30 days I have looked for "noconeetrader". All of his guns are de-listed both on guntrader and his website. I waited as long as I could but I had a good reason to buy a hand ejector. So I bid on one in 32 long colt at guntrader.

I am glad to be a part of the forum.

Halcyon
