Alright! I'm an Absolute Unique Visitor. (capitalized, no less) I take that as a complement. Thanks to you all, who make it what it is. It's funny how cold, blue steel can make you feel so warm and fuzzy.
Thanks for the forum, excellent insight, resource and friendly as can be. Stumbled into a 66-1 found the Smith-Wesson forum and promptly went out and bought it. A few weeks later I bought another one - who knew these were such great guns! Been shooting more lately than I have in a long time
I can see Lee sitt'n behind a big oak or mahogany desk, with a roaring fire in the fireplace to his side, his favorite dog (or cat...or whatever ) on a rug on the opposite side, and one of those little brass lamps with the green glass shades on it- or perhaps a Tiffany lamp on the desk and him typing away in a mood that, if it had happened at the time- FDR's public affairs directors would have been proud too.
Ah, just like a "fireside chat."
This is a fairly tol'a'ble place.
(Southern for- it's good!)
Congratulations Lee, mods and everyone else that makes it the place it is. Lots of work gone in here.
Congratulations and thanks to Lee and staff. I was lured here when researching my model 411 and 422 and ended up staying because of how well the site is moderated. I hope to be a member as long as the board is around.
I am very proud to be a member of this forum. How nice to give out the prizes awarded to the milestone posters. I spend more time in this forum than any other place on the internet. Great, great people and information to be found here. Thanks for all the hard work and thanks to all who are members here for their information and help.
