Amazing success, thanks to everyone here. I have used information gleaned from this forum to work on S&W's, save money, and appear quite knowledgeable when someone at work asks a question about a S&W handgun. Interesting to hear Osprey still visits. We had a lot of fun in some discussions back in the early years. I was just thinking about him this afternoon. My wife and I were wandering aimlessly around an antique show and there was a chest. It was labeled as the Surgeons Chest, HMS Osprey. It was big and well constructed. I didn't ask the price.

HMS Osprey... wasn't that the name of the Datsun that wouldn't start and went into the Kenai River? Had a nice big red salmon in the glovebox two weeks later when it got dragged out... as I recall it ran like a top after it's baptism...
