Hammer back with finger in the trigger. McQueen didn’t seem to know much about gun safety.
Perhaps doing dry fire practice (I hope).

Come on guys, "The Magnificent 7", the greatest movie made!
Steve could sing...and he is not just an "acktor"..any more than JMB was just a gunsmith..

I just saw the end of Mecum Auction Top 10 Porche sales.
Top seller? Steve McQueen's 930 Turbo.

This was circa 2015. No idea what it would go for now.

WOW.
The one I was referring to was a 911 variant.
The movie car, that's a rarefied atmosphere for sure.
"That's Paul Newman, not Steve McQueen."
Boy....did I ever space out...!! Ha!!
They are oh so similar in my mind...which lately is spinning..!
First time I saw Steve McQueen was in the movie "On any Sunday" ..Had Malcolm Smith it it too.
Didn't know who Steve was but MS was a hero to me. I was riding a Husqvarna 250WR about that time. Made a big impression on me...

Lol...I do the same thing! McQueen was a decent dirt bike rider as well. I'll bet most folks (at least those not into off-road/MX) have no idea who Malcom Smith is. The movie 'On Any Sunday' was a cool flick. Husky bikes were/are top shelf bikes. Bultaco, Maico, Hodaka, Penton, and a few other 'non' Japanese' built bikes were all main contenders back in the 70's.![]()
These pictures are from a pictorial in LIFE magazine circa 1963. One picture is taken in his apartment and the other with his wife in the desert.
Can anyone ID the handgun he has? It appears to be the same one in both pictures.
