I have put about 500 rounds through my new M&P without problems. I just want more magazines. This is the first new pistol I purchased that came with just one mag.

Ok .. fine .. I can live with that .. so about a month ago I ordered 3 mags from the S&W website which said nothing about not avail at this time.

I even spent the extra bucks to have quicker delivery. Two days later, I got a postcard saying ... backordered .. "usually" filled in 4 to SIX weeks.

They also gave a customer service number and an email address.

I sent an email and just asked 2 questions.

1. When will I get the mags?
2. Please consider refunding my extra money spent on enhanced shipping.

So far .. nuttin .. Not crying about it .. just a bit unhappy.

I plan to move up to the 9m version of the M&P within the next 6 months. So I am not giving up on S&W .. just a bit disappointed.

BTW .. my other S&W is the 340 PD ... an 11 oz handful when using .357.

M&P 22's are not made by Smith & Wesson they are made by Walther in Germany. Also Smith & Wesson are not going to be importing Walther Guns any longer. Not sure where that will leave us.. You may want to check out other places to order the mags.. cheaper too.. I got some from 44mag.com They were 29.95 each plus 5.00 shipping. if you hunt the boards there are other places to buy from too.. But 44mag.com shipped right away had them in like 2 or 3 days in my mail box with snail mail.. One more thing is if they only have the 10 round mags get them as it takes about 30sec. to convert them to 12 round mags.. You just take out the limiter in the mag.. Cancel your order with S&W by phone!! Good luck!! George

Thanks George .. interesting about S&W not importing Walther guns anymore. I plan to call S&W (who already took my money) and get a refund. Then order some 10 round mags and convert.

I just ordered 4 mags from them .. USPS priority mail .. will see how long they take to get here ... And they were 12 rounders ..

tpigman,Guess they both whent up in price.. Also when I ordered at 44mag.com it said that they had S&W mag that they had 100 in stock right on there web page.. I don't see there inventory amount anymore plus they went up in price! But looks like the best thing to do is call your order in to what ever place you decide and check there availavilability first.. You should have some good luck from one of the places... Also!!! Here is where you can read about S&W not importing Walther gun any more!! http://smith-wessonforum.com/smith-wesson-semi-auto-pistols/256731-s-w-walther-divorce-new-post.html

Much more info here too... http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2012/07/04/why-walther-amd-sw-parted-ways/

M&P 22 Mags

Just like you I got the back order post card. Waited 4 weeks. I ordered 10 round mags from Able Arms. Took 4 days.

It took me about 2 months to get mine after ordering over the phone.

S&W has NEVER responded to any of my email questions. I have to call to get any info.

It's not right only giving one magazine. Even if it raises the cost $25 or so it's still easier to get it right then and there.

You will get yours eventually, it just takes a while.

ThatGuy, Your right! It's not right 1 mag.. I sent them a few e mails in hope to get another free.. they did get back to me every time though. They just say they are shipped with one mag to keep the price down.. Yep, told them that everyone on the boards are saying the same thing about only getting 1 mag.. I suggest every one e mail and call them.. we all should get another mag free. they have ourvname address and ser#. They could send them out to all of us.. . list price is high enough on the M&P 22, not that far from other M&P's that come with two or more mags.. Better guns too!! But if you want a M&P 22 you have no choice but to buy there Walther. George

Found the info here and a few other places ..

http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2...w-parted-ways/

I wonder if Walther will continue to make the M&P for S&W? maybe they will because S&W name in also on the M&P 22..

Beware that if you call S&W they would tell you nothing at this point.. Trust me When Minolta folded there camera making and sold to Sony they denied it till after the sale.. I knew a inside guy that was a big wig.. So be careful it may me right..Just may take longer to hit the Smith & Wesson Walther made M&P22.. I'm not saying I'm 100% sure of the S&W M&P 22 For now.. Yes I did read that link.. but I am sure S&W and Walther is parting ways at least as far as Walther pistols go.. G
P.S I sure hope your right and it all goes down like printed in your link..That would be great!! G

Did you check out this thread?

http://smith-wessonforum.com/smith-wesson-m-p-pistols/258359-m-p-22-mags-cheap-stock-finally.html

Here's the direct link:
Baccausa.com offers huge selection and low prices on binoculars, telescopes, sunglasses, riflescopes and MUCH more from brands like Nikon, Leupold, Bushnell, Serengetti.

Good price if still in stock, free shipping over $50. Last I heard, they were only shipping 10 round mags, but easy to convert to 12 rds (I got 2, shot with them this weekend).

Thanks for the tip on Baccausa. I ordered 2 early Tuesday afternoon and got them today (Thursday). Got 2 for just under $60 instead of 1 back ordered from S&W for $40 which I canceled.

I did order the 12rd and got the 10rd which I have already converted.

Help !

I just got my S&W Mp15-22 rifle...having trouble finding out what the top of the line rail covers would be for it. Can anyone help me please and thanks.

Think you might want to go to the 15-22 portion of the forum and ask there. This the M&P 22 pistol topic.

I ordered mine from .44Mag on a Thursday and they were in my mailbox the next Monday. Shot 200 rounds through it today. Most of the ammo was way old (probably at least 30 years) Fed Lightning and AE. Only 1 failure to fire, no other malfunctions.

Looks like this purchase has been good for me.

I forgot to come back to this ... YES ... I eventually got my 4 Mags .. but I still don't like paying for the 2 day delivery and they had no problem sending em 3 MONTHS later without so much as a sorry.
