Ok, being a new owner of a 15-22, standard stock, how does one remove it? I would suspect that the screw in the adjustment lever would be removed and it would slide off the buffer tube, but just don't want to start taking things apart if there is a better way. Thanks for any help. Great forum and great folks here.

No, don't take out the screw. To adjust it you squeez it. To remove it, instead of squeezing it pull it in the opposite direction, away from the stock. That will remove the pin enough to slide it past te last notch and voila, stock removed.

GOT IT

:)Thank you, BeginningOfTHe End, That was easy. I knew how to adjust it but I don't think pulling it down would have occurred to me. That's what friends in the forum are for. Again, thanks for the quick reply and now, all things are possible.
